The Ciceronian Society membership program aims to promote intellectual friendship among Christians and increase engagement within our community of scholars between annual meetings.

We are well aware that ideas have consequences, but the best of our ideas, writings, and research often emerge from key conversations and relationships.

It is our hope that membership in the Ciceronian Society cultivates friendships that bear fruit in new and creative ways, helping us all become better thinkers, writers, teachers, and scholars.

How does one become a member?

Membership in the Ciceronian Society is by invitation at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

Following the initial round of invitations in the summer of 2025, the board may annually invite new members and will accept nominations from existing members in good standing.

All Members are required to pay annual dues and to affirm the following statement of faith:

“I affirm as true, without qualification, all foundational Christian beliefs as articulated by the Nicene Creed adopted by the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD.”

Nominations will be accepted through May 15 each year, and invitations from the Board of Directors will be sent in June.

Membership Dues:

A Membership Year currently runs from July 1 through June 30.

  • Standard Annual Membership – $75
  • Student Annual Membership – $25
  • Family Membership – $125
