Planning Notes

  • We anticipate most attendees will need to drive to this event or rent a car, though rideshare and public transportation options are available.
  • The Founders Inn does provide shuttles to and from Norfolk Airport for a fee. You will need to contact them to make these arrangements and for updated pricing.
  • We strongly recommend booking your room sooner than normal, as this is likely to be our largest conference ever and there is limited availability for expanding the room block.
  • Members are encouraged to use the Forums and Member Directory for contacting folks willing to split the cost of rooms and rides.

The Ciceronian Society has secured a hotel block for Wed. March 10 – Sun. March 14, 2027.

Getting There and Getting Around

Parking

Parking at Founders Inn is complementary for guests, but please check back here closer to the event for updated instructions if needed.

On Regent University’s campus, The Communication Parking Lot is designated for visitor parking. See Lot “L” on the Campus Map. Limited visitor parking is also available near the Welcome Center. (See Lot “N.”)

Airport:

Norfolk International Airport (ORF)

  • Norfolk’s Airport is the largest, closest airport to Regent University and Founders Inn. It is approximately 9 miles, or a 16 minute drive, to the Conference Location.
  • The Founders Inn does provide shuttles to and from Norfolk Airport for a fee. You will need to contact them to make these arrangements and for updated pricing.

Newport News / Williamsburg Airport (PHF)

  • This airport connects to the Charlotte Airport, and is about 33-45 miles to Founders Inn. Depending on the route you take, the drive could take an hour.
